NI SCXI-1140 module
The NI SCXI-1140 is a Class I module that acts as an 8-channel simultaneous sampling differential input gain block. The SCXI-1140 is a scxi bus module for signal conditioning of high and low level AC and DC signal sources. The SCXI-1140 works with National Instruments' io-16 board and is fully functional. You can use Lab-NB, Lab-PC, Lab-PC+, Lab-LC, and PC-LPM-16 boards with SCXI-1140, but they cannot scan modules; These boards can only perform single-channel reads. You can control the SCXI-1140 with the data acquisition board or the scxi Bus slot 0 controller.
Each SCXI-1140 module can multiplex its channels into a single data acquisition board channel, although separate outputs can also be used. You can multiplex multiple scsi-1140 into a single channel, greatly increasing the number of analog input signals that can be digitized.
An additional shielded terminal block screws the terminal for easy signal connection to the SCXI-1140. In addition to the analog input signal terminal, there is a terminal for the digital input signal, which you can use to put the module in hold mode to start the data acquisition sequence.
The SCXI-1140 can be used in a variety of applications, from thermocouple and low-level DC measurements to phase measurements. With the SCXI-1140. The SCXI chassis can be used as a fast scan signal regulator for laboratory testing, production testing, and industrial process monitoring.
A 50-pin male tape connector at the rear of the module connects the module to the io-16 board. Lab boards and PC-LPM-16 require special adapters. At the front end, a 96-pin DIN C connector connects the analog input to an optional terminal block. Matching DIN C connectors and enclosures are also available.
