GE DS200DTBCG1A Contact Output Termination Module
GE DS200DTBCG1A Contact Output Termination Module
Part Number DS200DTBCG1A Manufacturer General Electric Country of Manufacture As Per GE Manufacturing Policy Series Mark V Function Module Availability In StockDS200DTBCG1A is a Contact Output Termination Module developed by GE. It is a part of Mark V series. Q11, Q21, and Q51 contain the Contact Output Termination Module (DTBC). DTBC is linked to the TCRA's 30 relays in Q21 and Q51 locations four and five. DTBC hardware jumpers can be used to configure eighteen of the thirty outputs on DTBC in Q51 as solenoids. The DTBC in Q11 is linked to the four contact output relays on the TCRA in Q11.
The Q11 DTBC's hardware jumpers are specifically configured for gas manifold blow-off valve control. DS200DTBCG1A Connectors JS1-JS8: Reads the relay signals from the TCRA board in location four. J8: Receives power from the TCPD board in the PD core for the solenoids. J15 connects to J16 and provides 125 V dc power to contact outputs 16, 17, and 18. On the Q11 core, this is not commonly used. J16 connects to J15 and provides 125 V dc power to contact outputs 16, 17, and 18. Only connectable in the Q51 core. On the Q11 core, this is not commonly used. Hardware Configuration P1/M1 through P18/M18: Contact outputs #1 through #18 are enabled by solenoids. To enable solenoid power, both must be in, or both must be out. This convention is not followed by the Q11 DTBC configuration for gas manifold blow-off valve control.
Hardware Tips and Specifications
As with any General Electric printed circuit board offered in our inventory of new and used products, this DS200DTBCG1A PCB makes use of its own necessary series of hardware components and specifications. The GE Connector Relay Terminal Board DS200DTBCGIA features 2 terminal blocks with terminals for 110 signal wires in each. It also contains 2 3-wire bayonet connectors and 1 2-wire bayonet connector and 10 jumpers. The board is 3 inches in height and 11.5 inches in length. Spaces are available inside the Mark V Series drive for mounting the board. Because the board can have 220 signal wires attached to it, it is important that you mount it where the signal wires can be routed properly. The signal wires can not be routed near power cables due to the risk of interference, as power cables are considered noisy which means they radiate signal noise that can interfere with the accuracy of the signals received by the board; they also interfere with the signals received by the board. Sometimes shielded wires can be used to block the interference. However, the best solution is to route the power cables separately from the signal wires. If they must be routed together, it is best to limit the length of the run they are bundled together. The drive is designed so that cool air enters the drive at the bottom of the drive through air vents. The air flows over the heated components and carries away the heat through vents at the top of the drive. If fiber optic cables are routed inside the drive, the power cables can be routed together with the fiber optic cables. That is because fiber optic cable are immune from interference.
Several unique connector styles are offered in the assembly of this DS200DTBCG1A Contact Output Termination Module for supreme interfacing potential. Each of these various available connectors is accompanied by its own factory-printed nomenclature label as assigned by General Electric. The connectors afforded to this DS200DTBCG1A Mark V Turbine Control System Series include:
The JS1-JS8 TCRA Board Relay Signal Connectors
The J8 TCPD Board Solenoid Power Connector
The J15 125 V dc Power Connector
The J16 125 V dc Power Connector
